"Cruise Control"

Written by MillHan at 20:55 13/9-2010

Team MillHan is going to put it in cruise control for the rest of the season. With 20 days left in season 13 the team will focus on training. They will continue to race in selected events. The team will be counting on Carlton Speers and Cong Yutao to carry the load. Team MillHan currently has 9 riders on their squad. They have already designated that Jasper Scales will be doing some work away from the team for the rest of the season. Kirby Lakitsky has gotten the nod to do some heavy training along with Ezra Pursley. Which leaves the team with the magic number of 6 riders, just enough to race.
Kirby Lakitsky captured his first win this season and has showed team manager Deac Mill he is ready to become a leader. Deac Mill had this to say about Kirby. "He's strong rider who has the potential to win a lot of races. He is focused on the team and doing his job. He opened some eyes with his win this season. His performance so far made the decision easy for us to invest in his future and train him to be a great rider."
Team MillHan has bounced back and forth between Division 6 and 7 this season. They seem to ride better in the Division 7 races and have many top results and wins. Their races in Division 6 haven't turned out the same way. The pressure of the new division, the talented riders and the lack of confidence has plagued the team. They have fallen outside the top 500 in the overall rankings and outside the top 20 in the USA rankings. They have two upcoming races the Torpio-Torpio race and the Vuelta Oronz race. The team will look to perform well and climb back up in the rankings.
